This is a flag football officiating qualification, which gives outline knowledge of officiating and enables the holder to lead or assist in officiating flag football games where teams are required to self-officiate. It is recommended newly qualified officials should work under the supervision of an experienced official for a minimum of 8 full games.

Individuals who usually attend this course are players and/or coaches, required to officiate on gamedays and tournament days for other teams playing.
This course is ideal for learners who are seeking to officiate to a higher standard and for those seeking to develop into potentially paid officiating roles.
Learners must:
Be at least 16 years of age (NB. 16- and 17-year-olds must work under the supervision of an ideally experienced official aged 18 or over)
Be able to communicate effectively
Make any special learning requirements known at the registration process if they require any assistance

This course can lead to further learning, CPD or training in the area of officiating American Football and/or the progression (via a £15 booster course) to the British American Football Flag Officiating certification.
